"My family have known Luke now for 10 years.

Luke has played a major role in my son's life. Eric, now almost 16, has cerebral palsy and was confined to a wheelchair for the first twelve years of his life.He now walks independently .

At the age of six, I decided on a different direction for Eric as far as his therapy was concerned. I knew that he needed something special. We found Luke.

The barriers were very quickly broken down. Luke had a way with Eric. Eric has major speech and movement difficulties. Luke's consistent and calm nature allowed Eric to trust in him.

Before too long Eric was working with Luke on a regular basis and as a Mum I saw incredible improvements in Eric, not only physically but with his attitude to life.

Luke's knowledge of the human body goes far beyond that of a personal trainer. Eric has undergone a few major surgeries and his recovery would not have happened so successfully without his dedication and input. 

On October 11th of this year , one day after his 16th birthday, Eric will attempt to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Luke , of course will be with him. Pretty amazing for a kid who couldn't take one step on his own just four years ago. Next year Luke is going to teach him to surf.
